Some claim Page is more better

some claim Domain

whereas some claim both of course better higher the better

what's your thoughts?

lastly how to improve both this?

more on building good back links ? or more from SEO?

DA and PA mainly raise through back links.

I suppose over time you 'may' get some natural lift but not much.

I have been 'told' the main metric behind them is your rankings will not dance as much in the SERPs.

I don't trust them as an SEO factor fully as even high DA sites can have shit quality SEO with low back links on money pages.

Page authority is when you look at the URL and check only links pointing to that URL

Domain authority is when you check the whole domain.

So they are two different metrics.

And both useless.

Read this article by Ahrefs on PageRank.

Excellent site structure is the key to success. Keep page depth less than or equal to 3. Build internal links from your strongest pages to the ones you want to rank.

If you're going white hat then focus on building linkable assets that will attract backlinks. Use internal links from these to your money pages.
