About opening more than 5 Instagram accounts

Hey, currently I have 5 Instagram accounts (only 1 is active)

I want to open a new account but someone told me that you can get banned if you open more than 5 accounts on 1 IP

my question is: If I ask my friend to open an Instagram account from his IP, can I use it and not get banned? (I will change the email and password)

Is it even true that you can get banned for opening more than 5 accounts on 1 IP?

This is where proxies come into play.

I mean, nobody REALLY knows exactly what can/will get you banned on IG. Maybe you get banned for this or maybe you don't. I think the more suspicious things you do will add up to ban. Anyways this is where you can use proxies, as the previous poster said, to get around the issue. Make sure you use good residential proxies otherwise it's pointless.

What is going on with the other 4 accounts? If they're inactive and you've removed them from the accounts section of IG app I don't think you'll have a problem opening more on your IP.

Yea I removed them, I'll just open a new account and hope not to get banned.
