About latest change on Instagram about hiding likes amount

I doubt it will actually happen for good. There will be too much pushback from the community once people realize they can't use the number of likes to boost their self confidence anymore or compare themselves with the number of likes their friends posts get.
It seems to be a power move to scare away fake influencers and smm panels IMO.

I saw some news analyzing this. They said not showing how many likes one receive could do some positive impacts to personal users. I am good with this. But we are all running some profit-making business instagram pages. Showing likes to our followers absolutely play an important role. I will be disappointed if the rumor is true,.
