So I am currently building backlinks to my site. Article submissions, blog/forum comments, social bookmarks, etc. My problem is, they don't seem to get indexed by google. I have pinged them on pingfarm (pinged the URL of the page that contains my link, this is how it is done, right?), even tried linklicious, but even the links I built a week ago doesn't seem to get counted by google. How long does it usually take for them to be indexed?

Am I doing something wrong? Until this point I have only built a small amount of backlinks, although they are quality ones (well ,most of them). Should I simply increase the amount of links per day? How do you go about indexing links?

Sorry for opening a new thread about this, but I am on the front of page 2 already with one backlink that I don't remember building, and I feel like the site would only need a small push to enter page 1 and so I am getting frustrated for the lack of progress since a week.
