I am posting this to help newbies learn how pathetically EASY it is to get on page one of google in 2 weeks for FREE and minimal work.
Stop pay for fucking quick fix silver bullets, they will just FUCK YOUR SITE up in the long term and probably do nothing in the short term
Work SMART, and maybe a little bit hard. Try shit, monitor results, figure out what works.
Smart Tip 1: In general this comes from repairing things like cars or computers or relationships or Hadron colliders.
The Tip: Only do ONE thing, observer, test, check results. If you try 10 things and, wow, you are getting sales and traffic all of a sudden you will have no idea which thing you did actually worked and gave you those results.
Moving on to the easy stuff...
Just do this:
1. Find a keyword phrase 3-5 words long that gets around 600-1000 local searches a month, there are currently 173 tools that will tell you this
OR use the free faggle keyword tool (for realz!)
2. Find out how easy it is to rank for this KW. Also lots of ways to do this. I use longtailpro because Im lazy. Their KC number is a measure of how hard a word or phrase is to rank for compared to the competition. Now if you want to go ultra ninja, dark matter level 7, use serpwoo and reverse engineer the competition. Scary accurate and shocking how well this works. Go after the low hanging fruit, make sure the odds are always in your favor. NEVER fight a fair fight. This is a knife fight, there are no rules.
You can do it yourself by simply looking at the top 10 sites ranking for this term and using your brain figure out if you have a chance of beating them. There are at least 10 articles on the internet that will tell you how to do this, might even be 15-20 such articles.
Using longtailpro (no, Im not a shill for them, like I said, you can easily do this manually) I picked a phrase that had a KC (keyword competitiveness) of 19, this is VERY easy to rank for according to them. Anything under 25 should be rankable on page one with minimal work.
Now,
THE SECRET!! (shhh don't tell anyone because NO ONE knows about this, and I mean NO ONE)
I wrote a 1400 word article MYSELF (hmm could this be the secret sauce?), yes you read that correctly, I.....WROTE.....IT.....MYSELF. It took a LONG time, at least 8 minutes.
As I wrote it right from my own admitedly tiny reptilian brain I assumed it was unique. However, I was curious, so I ran it through copyscape premium just for fun, and (gasp) it WAS unique.
So I grab 2 royalty free pics from the web, use LSI kws for the alt text (the words at the bottom of google search results) and sprinkle a few of these same LSI kws in the article. All your basic on page seo stuff, nothing new here folks.
Post it on my tiny exact match domain (but NOT exact match for this particular post) match blog that is about 4 months old and has only 6 pages of unique content.
It is on the cheapest hostgator hosting, no unique ip. No link building done to this, no black or white or gray hat stuff, no nothing.
The only thing is it is a 1400 word unique article and the kw phrase is considered easy to rank for.
The blog is already indexed so no need to sub this post (not a page, its wordpress in case I didnt mention that).
So I wait 2 weeks and check it and here are the results according to serpwoo and proranktracker:

So, it all comes down to this. Simply write an original article of more than 1000 words for a key word phrase that is easy to rank for.
