I was wondering about guest blog posts. I've already read a lot about it on BHW and other sites but never took the plunge to buy one because i was wondering the following:

Does the investment ( which is usually easily 150-200$) beat the link building for the same price? I know link packages do offer some good rankings but they do not offer the initial "authority, branding and traffic"

Is the three things i mentioned the reason why people value it over link packages?

Maybe for clarification: Im selling my own private labeled product and i've been doing seo for about a month or 8 ( due to trial and error, i only just started getting it right with big comp keywords)

You can get other authority weblinks through guest posting if you put in the work. But guest posting doesn't beat the price of link packages. However, what's important is the quality. Quality > quantity.
