about fashion pages

Say I start a fashion page on IG, do you have to be knowledgeable in the latest fashion n shit? lol cos I don't know anything about fashion whatsoever. How do yo know what you're posting is going to be any good to people who are interested in fashion? :S

When you choose a niche make sure you don't get bored posting photos...because you will need to do that for loooong time

that's the tricky part, you can be a trend setter (slim chance) or a trend follower (lot higher chance), but you can't even be the latter either without at least a basic knowledge

but why do you want make a fashion account at all? just because it's the trend on ig and can make money?

you would be better of with a niche what you enjoy and have some insight on, even if it's not the most popular niche on ig

or if you're fixed on the fashion niche and you're interested in it at least a bit, you should make yourself familiar with it, there are a lot of fashion blogs, forums, other ig accs, tumblr, reddit or even fourchan have a fashion board, start reading/observing or else i can't really see you succeed

there's different niche in fashion too. so make sure you niche down. and always rotate your content.

for example, 1 post dress, next post shoes, next post accessories, next post kylie jenner.. you get the drift.

I suggest you to make an Instagram page with niche you are interested in, so you'll always know what to post and wont get bored.

why not make a page in the niche that you know about?) this will make you way more interested and you will go out of your way to grow it
