When I saw Exitgrabber, I was amazed at its simplicity and effectiveness. (Hell, it made ME stop and read the site..)

I read in another post that it was a simple img with some javascript to popup the STOP layer.

I can see how this might work, but I know very little about JS or those crazy floating divs and how to turn them on/off.. :|

I would imagine that the image must be the full width of the page, right?

And then simply add onmouseover="stop_them_now() ;"

What then, would be the Javascript to do this?

I know someone here knows how to do this. Who wants to pay $80 (at least) for something like this?

Why do you want to pay $80 for this when you can buy the program for $79.95 ?
I can't see the reasoning unless you want to create an exitgrabber2.com

Ermm..no.. :o
I meant "who wants to (meaning why would anyone) pay $80 (rounded up from $79.95) for Exitgrabber when we can figure out the method that it uses"

Sorry for the confusion.

Not sure it's a naughty post seem even when I emailed the site owner about link they did nothing so fair game now ..

I am a newbi and probably a dumbshit but how does this thing work?

when i downloaded it to check it out for you (btw Thank you for the download)

i had to rename the file to an .exe file in order to get it to run.

Then it asked me to register it, you can put any name in their and also any email address. Once i did that it said registration successful then opened the program to use.

hope this helps you out...

How can one leave a $80 program on a simple thank you page? I am surprised. He didnt do anything about it even after a warning by superman.
