I have e-commerce website for consumer electronics (for the US). I contacted e-commerce websites in other markets with the same niche (such as the UK and Australia) to exchange backlinks, but did not get good feedback.
Are there any other methods and communities to exchange backlinks?

Link exchanges in e-com are hard. Try niche forums, FB groups, or Telegram chats. Guest posts, unlinked brand mentions, and supplier links work too. What DR range are you aiming for?

Pay more attention to the website's traffic, keyword rankings and the quality of the website's backlinks

Consider niche forums (Reddit, Quora), resource pages, or digital PR. Build relationships with US tech YouTubers/influencers for product reviews.

Direct 1:1 link exchange is often flagged as manipulative by algorithms, leading to poor response rates from cautious site owners. A safer, more effective method is pivoting to resource page inclusion or generating links via unique data/studies relevant to the consumer electronics niche. Ensure the links you acquire use highly relevant anchor text; links with proper context pass an estimated 4x the authority of generic or keyword-stuffed anchors.
