Do e-books work? Yes, they're usually just document files (PDF, KF8, etcetera).

I answered 'never' on the poll, but I just remembered that I rented and purchased e-books on Amazon a couple of years ago for a university class I was taking at the time (renting was $15; who wants to spend $150 on the book?). The e-books were just the hardcover copy in digital format.

I wasn't aware eBooks could be listed on eBay. I thought they had done away with buying things in digital format.

In regards to your question, I rarely ever buy eBooks. If I do it's for entertainment purposes, and it has to be at a certain price point. However, my parents buy eBooks like crazy. My mom just spent $30 on a book about juicing last week. She's the reason I even wanted to start selling eBooks, because there are people like her who just religiously buy and absorb information.

Information products will never actually go out of style. I remember getting an email in my inbox from a "guru" just this week saying that information products are dead and you should teach online courses now...

As long as the internet exists you can make a living off of eBooks. They aren't going anywhere. Trust me.
