About companies offering buy my apps

Hi:

Do you receive an email from some random company asking you to buy your Android app?
I receive a lot of this kind of messages, some looks "real" or "serious" but I have my doubts about the real intentions of this people, because they ask about a lot of key stats information such daily/monthly users/revenue, etc.
I think this emails are only to get important information about your app and business and then they can copycat your app based on the information your give they.

This is without taking in mind that can be scammers that can steal your app tricking you about a sale.
