Over 25k lost with this crappy company I regret working with them

I get better results with my own content locker, and probably because it doesn't look so clean and polished. I have what looks like a video with a play button, they click the play button and a popup (actually a tooltip) pops up with the offer right there (although I'm iframing so it's a bit different since I have the offer right there)

Anyway, my point is that sometimes something less 'professional' looking is more likely to get conversions. Just my experience anyway.

I wanted to do my own content locker etc cuz it's obviously the way to go but all seems so complicated and I imagine it'd be too hard to not get banned from the program. How easy is it?

Well, I'm using GhostCPA. THe program allows you to slice up your offers, it even supports 2nd page offer framing, and then gives you code to fake the referrer and to redirect after submission, so that's how I'm using it as a content locker. They don't get redirected to the content they want to see until after they put in an email address.

How easy is it? It was a little bit of a learning curve as I'm not really much of a coder or anything. Someone in another thread has a copy of ghostcpa he uploaded to a server so that anyone can try it out. Search for 'cakeslice' , that's how he titled the thread. If you want to poke around with it, that is.

There are also other content locking scripts if you look around. I haven't checked them out yet though since I'm happy with my current setup.

As far as getting banned, you only get banned if you do something wrong and get caught (obviously). The way the referrer is faked makes it difficult (if not impossible, but probably possible), to detect. What I do, on the advice of a kid in the forums here who knows his stuff, is put the offer in an iframe on a blank page, and then put that page in an iframe on my blackhat landing page, the page with the ghostcpa code and copy, the one with my 'put your email in to see the video' text and whatnot. That way, even if the referrer is leaked somehow, it will just be the blank parent page rather than a blackhat looking page that gets leaked, which is less of a red flag and easier to talk your way out of if they ask about it.

I got accepted to them pretty easily and for whatever reason (I don't remember) I haven't used them yet. I don't hear a lot of great things about them, as is evident by this thread. I'll probably end up testing them myself with limited traffic at some point.

To be honest, they have always paid me, but their offers SUCK. They don't convert ANYTHING like they use to convert ~1 year ago. Stay away from them.

I just signed up with them. Their offers don't seem to be anything worth pushing ... and there is no way to see how many fields/pages need to be filled out for the offers in their content locker. After speaking with the AM, he told me that information isn't usually released to them ... maxbounty sure as hell releases it. iono prolly gonna drop them simply because of their BS youtube videos
