Ability to Upload Image Removed in DMs?

I remember it was possible to upload an image in a direct message conversation.
Now that option is gone, I can only insert an image via URL
Is that an intended change?
I don't see it in the changelogs (maybe I missed it)

I gave up adding images and stuff when I realised the new updates were to prevent spam

I sent a whole lotta images compared to other users

Hope to find a fix here so I can pest a few more beings

It is very annoying
needing to upload pictures/screenshots to imgbb and then link that
 
@xReminisce do you know the last time you were able to upload an image to DM?
 
Ok, just an update.

I literally just missed ticking the permission for Jr. VIP. So, since it took 4 days for anyone to notice they're without this permission and we have a no change Friday, I'll turn it back on first thing Monday. I'm going to lock this thread since I know what the issue is and you know when the fix is coming. I'll post when it's updated Monday so anyone with the Jr. VIP status knows it's back.
