If they've looked in the bag, they will just take the drugs. You can hardly ask them if they took it.

Not sure what country you're in, but I doubt police will be waiting for you when you arrive.

if they looked in the bag and noticed the drugs, just say that it wasnt there when you left the bag, how could they say if someone left it there afterwards or not?
