A .wordpress.com with NO unique content NO backlinks but ranks 1st page

All I did was to LITERALLY copy paste few articles from EZINartcles, REMOVE the links and add some random pictures from stock images. My site ranks 1st page for an average (OK volume Low competition) keyword and
I have no clue how. NO back-links were build.


Your thoughts?

That is just confirmation of that google is not that magically powerful and there are plenty of cases I heard about when duplicate content ranks better than original

Hey there,

It's probably a keyword that has little to no competition. Are they referencing the sites that they have taken the content from?

What tracking system are you using? Did you log out from your gmail account?

Because of Wordpress's authority linking structure. OP should of linked back to the source, not doing so might get you in trouble with the original author and in turn banned by Wordpress.com.
