a video with 8500 Views but zero comment

may be new channel with few videos, sometimes ad views also appear similar to botted views if the video ad campaign gone wrong

It is possible, how any likes are on the video?

maybe comments wait for approval, or the views are botted

there can be lots of things, its hard to say exactly,

i once shared my vdo in one of the sub reddit, got around 7k views and just 3 likes, no comment.

I have to agree that there would be more responses. It seems that something has certainly gone awry. Have you considered getting in touch with YouTube support? Good luck brother!

Check your audience retention (how long the video was viewed for)
If no viewtime at all, it is bots for sure.
If there are different amounts of time being watched in the video, it is humans viewing, but video not interesting enough for comments.

It's very common among YouTubers to get tons of views but few comments. This is usually due to the following reasons:

1) Your videos are not interesting.
2) There is no call-to-action in your video description. You are maybe not using Cards feature to recommend your website or other videos/playlists from your channel either?.
3) You aren't making your videos stand out, try adding subtitles, tags, location, use top keywords in title and description, and make your titles catchy. Use eyecatching thumbnails.
4) Also for SEO, if windows, or photoshop, edit metadata of video (windows right click/properties/details/ and add title comment description 5 stars and keywords to the metadata before uploading the video for good SEO metadata (YouTube sees that)

Not 100 % sure but there are chances of it for sure.
