A Trick To Save Your Passwords On Notepad

Many people are asking for easy ways to save their password and I can tell you that you can save it on Notepad like I do with this trick and without being worry about it.
First of all, you should make rules on the passwords and use it all the time.
So let's say that my rule is adding 2 random characters at the end of each password. My real password is ABCd45f78 and when I write it on the notepad I write ABCd45f78P3
So you will always ignore the last 2 random values that you add to all your passwords.
Or maybe make it more complicated and add 1 random value at the beginning and one or two at the end or even after 2 values you add the random wrong value.

wow, like minded. I used to do that before password manager. I have a file called cupcake.jpg and I'd store it there.
It was actually a photo of a cupcake. My thing was if it was a social media account i'd add 5177 after four characters and so on with other type of passwords.

I Known this Trick when i was Learning coding because all we do is in code all the Code here and there so i was using this trick to save Password even i was using sharing Computer but still my password were safe
 
Good trick. But I believe every time opening a file or app for the password is time wasting.

I have a fixed sequence for last 6 characters. The first 3 characters are the first two letters of the website, number 9, followed by the fixed sequence.
 
Good idea. But there seems to be a problem here.

If you adopt the same pattern for all your passwords, say you have 30 of them in the notepad, some smartass could guess the trick behind it.

Say, you have @3firstpassword78, @3secondpassword78, @3thirdpassword78, don't you think some folks with a hacker bent of mind can detect where you're coming from and remove the suffix and prefix part to get your real passwords?

We would definitely need a hacker-proof system.

I too thought the thread is about some kind of encryption. This is just a pattern visible at a glance.

The trick here is to add "RANDOM" characters to your password in the begining, or the end, or both. Not repeat the same pattern "@3 & 78" for all your passwords as you mentioned above.
 
Good trick.
Make it more complicated add 2 random character in beginning and add 3 random character at the end. Always make a difference in number of character in beginning and ending

This is the dumbest shit I read here today. If you are saving your passwords like that... holy fuck. And yes, some.
 
Learn the rarest language in the world you can.
Write your password using random words from that language so that you know at first glance what to avoid while reading it.

This is what I did for several years.

So if I find one of your password, I basically have access to all your other accounts ? Noice.

why not use a password manager ? There's good, free ones out there. Every other system you're imagining is sub-optimal at best, completely flawed at worst.

This is more complicated then Google algo.
