This may have been posted here in a different way of saying it, but I thought this technique was useful.

I had a clickbank offer I was making a site for, and I saw they offered free samples. So I used that to my advantage and made a Web Form in Aweber. I put it on the website I made for the offer, making them sign up if they want the samples. I then send them the link to the downloads in the followup email, and the thank you page redirects to my hop link.

I thought it was a decent Idea since my email list was lacking.

Tell me what you think, again sorry if the general idea was posted before.

Dude this method is older than the internet itself haha. Most people will ignore they type of web forms. If your gonna make money from email opt-in sites then i highly recommend you use a cpa network that offers email submit offers. And since this is BLACKHATworld, you could spice things up by 'cropping' the email submit box and use that as your 'opt in box'

Yup this method has been around for a while. Good job implementing it though. It will def help you in the future to amass a list now. Plus when sales are slow later on you can send out an email to your list offering different products for returning customers at a lower price.

On one of my sites I run an optin form for a free guide on the niche subject. Also after they purchase anything I always have them redirected to a form to enter in their email address. And if they want to fill out a survey for me (takes 5 minutes) I give them a little something extra extra with their order.

I can't remember the name but there are other form builders that you can integrate into aweber (such as redirect after they submit too)

I'll keep that in mind, thanks!

Agreed! :)

i never touch the email marketing side of IM so this is new to me. sounds like u have a good but oldie strategy that still works.

Yeah, it's an old technique, but obviously still works, since super-popular CB products sites do this exact same thing. I was going to do what you're thinking of doing, but download the free eBooks or whatever myself, rebrand them with my affiliate links, then setup the opt-in form to send them that version of the book.

That way, I'd still get the commission if they (or someone else) bought the CB product through one of my links in the free eBook.

When I used to use CPA I did pretty good with this method..Not sure how it would do now.

I've had a few ideas somewhat like this. Like you create a free Ebook, or even like 5 bux in a niche. You then stuff the whole thing with your aff. link. Not spam it throughout the whole thing, but you get the idea.

I'm always more likely to fill in a form if there's free stuff. Thanks for sharing
