Our Reddit Automation Setup for OFM Looking to Connect and Improve
Hey everyone I wanted to share our current Reddit setup to connect with others in the space and hopefully pick up some suggestions or ideas on how to reduce bans and filter issues.
What We Are Doing
We are currently running a scaled posting system for OFM funnels. Here is the core setup
- 20 to 60 accounts active per day
- All actions done on iOS devices
- Device spoofing handled through Crane with Ghost
- Shadow profiles with different bypass settings per account
- USA mobile link rotated proxies
- Only title based posts no images or comments involved
Account and Technical Setup
- Each account has a unique device environment
- Shadow is used to randomize important device identifiers
- No shared fingerprints between accounts
- Fully automated actions with controlled humanlike patterns
- 30 to 100 posts per account depending on survival
Based on performance so far the post count does not seem to be the main trigger for bans
Problems We Are Running Into
Even with all precautions we are still seeing key issues
- Inconsistent bans across accounts
4 out of 14 newly deployed accounts were banned - Heavy Reddit spam filtering on multiple profiles
2 accounts are basically invisible and get zero reach - Unpredictable results tied to filter scoring
- Once an account is strongly filtered it usually gets banned later
Our current theory
Reddit identifies metadata or behavioral similarities early then applies a filter flag long before a ban happens.
What We Are Testing Next
To improve survival and visibility we are experimenting with
- Longer warmup periods before scaling posts
- More variation in timing and posting frequency
- Diversifying subreddit choice cycles
- Lower overall automation intensity during newer account stages
