Hello All,

First time journey creator, but has been a member on here for a few years now. Some of you may recognize my name from doing business with you, and I appreciate your help on creating this dream of mines. My journey will eventually end with being a authority on Marvel/DC content, but realize I have a VERY long way to go. I am in the process of trying to create and establish a brand. Anyway, let's get into it. Below is currently what I have and done:

Website: Avg 600 views a month (It's a little over a year old)
Due to not having a lot of time, it auto blogs Marvel/DC content. It posts Marvel & DC articles, along with videos. I also have about 5 quizzes on it as well. I know auto blogging hurts my site ranking, its just that working full time, and being a father and husband-I really don't have a lot of time to write articles. I currently have only adsense on it. I use to have content.ad, but removed them because I HATED the ads.

Instagram: 33k Followers
I use to be very active on Instagram but as of late I haven't been able to go into the comments and reply to people. This has affected my impressions/reach. I use to use followplanner to help grow the page, and since you can't really automate too much with IG anymore, I stop using this service-which has caused me to lose followers. It also sucks that I haven't found a great way to drive traffic to my website from IG.

Facebook: Page: 154k Likes and Group: 4.5K Members
I get the majority of my traffic from Facebook. About two years ago, I was lucky to be able to buy a Facebook page in my niche, and from there created a group that is a little over a year old. The articles that autoblog on my website is posted on my Facebook Page and Group. You guys know how Facebook is and only shows your post to a very small percentage of your followers so both the Page and Group is not bringing in too much traffic. I am also members of several groups (in the same niche) so every now and then I try to share my posts from my website to those groups as well to generate traffic. Due to the article posting, my Facebook page likes is decreasing. I try to not only posts links to articles, but also things to get people talking and debating. Even with that, the page is still decreasing. The group is slowly growing, but that is due to me inviting members from my page to the group.

Twitter: 275 Followers
Twitter is definitely a work in progress. I just recently started hitting it hard, and purchased a program that for $19 a year, adds people based on keywords in my niche, delete people who do not follow after 2-3 days, etc. I also have a plugin that auto post old articles from my website.

Pinterest: 141k monthly viewers
I have the RSS feed set up that auto adds articles to pinterest. I am actually excited, because the viewers continue to go up and up. I am very interested in learning more on how to drive traffic to my website from pinterest. Currently, it doesn't seem like much is coming from there.

Reddit: Subreddit 2,432 Followers
I was lucky to find a sub in my niche that was abandoned with over 1k followers and petitioned to be the moderator. I have been the moderator for about 4 months now, so I am in the process of building it up. I post articles every now and then, but I don't think much traffic is coming from it-due to low membership. Plus I don't want to overdue it with the links, because as you know, redditors do not like that.

Youtube:
I would LOVE to create a youtube page. I just don't have any ideas on what type of content to create.

Cost of Everything:

Currently:

$62 Yearly for Hosting and Domain
$19 Yearly for Twitter Automation Program

Paid in the past:
$230 for website creation
$500 for Facebook Page
$500 for misc. (Speeding up website, backlinks, logo, ad optimization, etc.)

I guess I decided to create this to get feedback from the pros here and ideas on what I could do to make everything better and more efficient. I am definitely open to criticism and help. I have always loved Marvel and DC-hell comics in general. So instead of chasing money and creating a website/social media on something I am not interested in, I decided to see if I could monetize something I love. Any questions, drop them below! Thank you for taking the time to read this.

Lots of work have been done so far, great job! Hopefully, you'll create your brand. What do you want to sell on behalf of your ML/DC brand? Merch?

Well, what I mean my "brand" is just a recognizable logo and named established with providing reputable Marvel/DC content. I never really thought about merch. Maybe somewhere down the line, once I get things really going. I also forgot to mention that all of my pages on social media is pretty much branded with either my name or logo. I guess I am looking for ideas on where should I go from here. My goal is to create like a spider web with my website being in the middle and all of my social media accounts around it, bringing traffic to it.

That's a nice bunch of traffic streams. Good luck!

Thank you! I know I have a long way to go. But like I mentioned earlier, I love anything involving Marvel/DC, so it truly doesn't seem like work. I know it all just takes time. I just wanted to post my journey to keep myself and others motivated to continue to grind and go after what you ultimately want to achieve. I also posted this here to see if there is anything I am missing. Anything else I could do to better move things along.

Well for the yt channel you could make videos about facts of the comics something like “This DC villain is the most powerful one” “The secret ending of Endgame” something like that with a bit of clickbait but not too much

U could try to sell merch of your brand, resell comics in reddit, bring a lot more of quizzes and monetize them

Once you pull everything together in a giant community through all of your social media the money will start to flow.

Just dont spam your community with offers or low-quality content, u can connect everything pretty good so dont miss that chance

If u have any question contact me:)

I really appreciate the feedback. What you said about YT has really got me thinking. I will take note to what you said about how to not spam my community. I worked so hard to grow it, and I wouldn't want to mess it up.
