I regularly rotate out between the black and white forum theme, I prefer the light when my eyes are not so strained, however after a while I switch back to black.I've seen on some forums where you could easily toggle and change the theme via a simple button located in the top bar, as opposed to going into your settings and changing it from there.
Additionally, when in light mode, it would be nice if lighter colored text were automatically changed to something darker, I have only ever had this issue with user posted text in a thread that they chose a specific color for. Say if something is in a specific hexcode range, it will automatically default to black or something. I find it somewhat disruptive to have to change my theme, or to highlight the text to read it.
All in all I feel like this would add somewhat to the value and overall experience of the forum, enough to justify the time and expense of doing so.Though I could be wrong.
Your thoughts?
