Here is an idea for the social media section
Every one likes free stuff or discounts, try outs, holiday sales and so on...

So have one thread wich would be closed for comets where mods could only post with who, whats site and what they are offering, from what date till what date with direct link to the thread

    i guess so
make it like a sticky thread
it would be a one stop shop
and it would be a win win for the customers and site cellars

    What thread? Marketplace threads?

I'm not sure, if i understand you correctly.

There's a freebie section, where you can offer stuff for free.
If you want to sell something, there's the Marketplace for that. If it's a social media service, you'll find it under the "Social Media" category. It's already organized.

The social media section covers that. It brings in all threads from sub threads into the one post line.
