A stupid question or three..

I've read a few of the stickied posts on the boards, lurked for awhile, and now I have a question.

I've set up an autoblog, I add articles, now how do I use traffic to make cash?

Whats the best way to sell an ebook? Can I write/spin/rant one out and charge money for it using paypal? how would you get paypal to redirect a customer to a download link once they've purchased.

Since I dont own the domain, making money through placed adds seems like a fruitless endevour. Am I wrong?

Just use google ads, adbrite or any contextual ad service - depending on your niche you may be able to utilize some form of affiliate program.

Personally I don't have much knowledge about selling ebooks - you could always just email the buyer the book once they have paid, some payment services do offer digital content delivery but I don't think Paypal does.

I don't really know what you mean, you using something like a blogger? or some sort of free subdomain? Either way; you can monetize it, but domains are cheap - just buy one!

Why not use a .co.cc domain with free Awardspace hosting??? I think that will solve your domain problem for some days. When you start earning then buy a regular one.

Use gateway with CPA offers if you have more of US,UK traffic else use Adsense in side bar,content,header!!!

Try different forums to sellout your ebooks...!!!!

You can have an email list sign up and give away the ebook for free!
using that you will be able to get a higher conversion and you can legal spam people with products and affiliate links and will get a higher conversion rate for the money and they will most likely buy more products and you will make more money this way

When you create your Buy Now button with Paypal, under advanced options there is a place where you can specify a URL to send the buyer to once payment is complete...

Find an ebook that is already selling,
rephrase it and sell it. If you won't be sued by owner you can make few bucks.

I'd try the following:
- Optimize the autoblogs with Adsense
- Test the following advertising methods: Pop Under, Exit Pop, Interstitial pop, in text links, interstitial ads, corner ads...etc.

Thanks greatly. With the autoblogs thing, I've been reading up and I find myself a little confused. Do I just sign up for sights that allow me to add widgets, or apps, or whatever they're called to update them automatically?

Also.. Whats a good way to increase traffic on websites you maintain manually?
