A stupid question about Reddit

I wasn't active a long time on Reddit, now I tried to do a few things and I'm very confused.

I can't post pictures in subreddits, they just disappear and from desktop I not even able to click the button for uploading an Image.
When I tried to google I only read something u need to use a external uploader like imgur, but on the other side everybody say you can't upload NSFW stuff on imgur.
Also I see tons of uploads on reddit itself that's NSFW.

I'm really confused and just want to know how to post pics on subreddits again. (And no it's not about rules of some subs or other restriction, It also dont work on my own subreddits and my own profile)

Maybe they don't allow uploading images, only allow inserting links like GIFs, etc?

Using the Reddit App you can upload photos directly from your phone, on your computer you need to use a 3rd party photo storage service, for example imgur, ...

You don't need to use 3rd app if you use the new Reddit version. Correct me If I am wrong?

I noticed that the NSFW groups do not allow direct posting on the PC

Make new Post on Mainsite. insert your text and Pic

and at the end select subcredit. this works. had the same problem

Each subreddit has its own rules and moderators.

Some require you to upload images to a very specific site and some have restrictions on the amount of karma you need to have to post or have your content 'stick'.

Some moderators, especially the bigger subreddits, go on a power trip or are corrupt and only let content they get paid for on to the frontpage of their subreddit.
