A site based on Youtube videos (embedded code)? is it Good or Bad idea?

One of the user, decided to create a website, where he can just re-share others Youtube videos, by copy pasting YT embedded codes.

I know, it is bad for SEO & other things.

Problem no.1)
Search engine don't like a site without any content.
So an Image or Video based site is tough enough to rank!

Problem no.2)
You are not creating original content. You just copy pasting. Which can be easily flagged by Search engines.
Specially Google, because you are copy pasting their content.

I don't know, if such a site even exist! So its sound terrible to me :|
So I already warned him about its drawbacks.

I need your opinion on that too.
Because you guys know lot more than me

What is the end goal and purpose of creating this site? You'd be better explain if you know what he's trying to do with this site.

As far as I know, monetization would be another issue too (in addition to getting organic traffic). I don't think it'll get approved by any ad network or affiliate program.
