A Simple Thank You

Hello Guys,

I made nearly 3 - 5 posts every day, but I never seen that no minimum courtesy from the members. I think they don't have minimum time to Say "THANKS" to the Uploader.

This is our minimum courtesy, because every day lot of posts are made in this BHW, but very few peoples said thanks to the Uploader.

Just think friends, why the uploader are uploads stuff here every day, because they want to share some useful stuff with the other members and that too they didn't ask your money.

I am sorry if this is a Wrong Post, But My Intention is just remind you, that THANKS is our Minimum Courtesy.

No offence to you. I know I am no mod but directly asking for thanks isn't going to get you anywhere. So long as you feel you have contributed your share and you feel good about it, that will suffice. Many people contribute and don't ask for any thanks. Save for some who put in their signature but no offence to them as well. Opening a thread and complaining about not being thanked and comparing that to some 'minimum courtesy' just doesn't cut it. Look at your current number of thanks man! How much thanks do you want? Sorry but I felt that I had to let you know about this.

Coming from a guy who's only given out 9 thanks so far, I'd say look who's talking!

Only kidding. But seriously, are you talking about people not using the Thanks button? Or people not typing out a Thank you reply? If the latter, it's because we consider those types of posts to be junk. In fact, we encourage people NOT to post Thank You replies. Most people only do that to increase their post count, and too many of them can make it difficult to find posts that are worth reading. Haven't you ever been to one of those forums where you're looking for valuable information in someone's reply, only to have to sort through 8-10 pages of "thanks for this!"?

To sum it up: use the Thanks button!

Well I thank you there and I appreciate posts here on BHW but I always forget to thank people. I don't think anyone should be bothered though if they feel they've been cut short of being appreciated. Breathe in, breathe out and walk away.

I am not asking about to press the "Thank Button". Yes i know, i too didn't give my thanks to anyone, that's what i feel. It's just a remainder to me as well as our members. Of course whenever i find valuable post, i will definetly says my Thanks.

But i seen there is a some hot threads, but the thanks are around 5 - 16. That's what i said.

The joy in helping others is a pleasant experience in itself...

Thanks are just a bonus to that pleasant experience.

Anyway that is what I think.
