A Simple Question

I'm going to be accepted to Cleanfiles pretty soon here, and I'm working on my video today. I'm doing one for a pretty popular niche so gaining traffic isn't my concern, but what I'm here to ask is this. Should I link directly to my download link in the description, or should I set up a Blogspot and post the link on there? Does it matter, is one way or the other better? If anybody has experience I'd be grateful to hear your observations.

well from my personal experience having direct link in discription or direct it to a blogspot doesn't really matter. blogspot/site can just help you get more chances on a download if its done correctly , meaning getting traffic from ppl that are actually looking for your niche

Yeah that's what I was figuring Admirus, if I did make a post and drive traffic through a blogspot, I could elaborate on the video and turn it into a squeeze page so to speak. I could also probably acquire more organic traffic that way, so it's really hard to say.

Also if I set up a site to compliment the video, it'd kill two birds with one stone, I can rank a site, get it traffic and also acquire the end result of having people download my video.

I guess it's all just a question of what I want to do, I was going to make my videos like a sales pitch and really over-hype the product. So I think in that respect I don't necessarily NEED a squeeze page. But it would be nice to acquire extra traffic from organic sources. So I guess that's something I'll have to really consider.
