Hey all,
How about having a separate section for Methods and Guides.. ? They get lost in the sea of other threads and searching them is very difficult. I bookmark every guide or method I read but if I forget to do it, it becomes very difficult to find the thread again. This will be very useful to the newbies and can reduce ' How do I earn $XXX?' threads.

I actually think the prefix feature would be a better way of going about this. I provided an example of it for the marketplace below, but a "Method" prefix could be used as well.
While I like the idea, one problem I can see this causing is that it would change the permalink of every BST thread. For example, if I we decided to do this and changed @littlewebdragon's BST title, the URL would go from
  • /seo/servikus-pure-ssd-hosting-unlimited-domains-and-bandwidth-only-0-8.677202
to
  • /seo/bst-servikus-pure-ssd-hosting-unlimited-domains-and-bandwidth-only-0-8.677202.
Some members might not appreciate the permalinks or their thread titles being changed. I also don't think there are any automatic redirects in place if we change the thread titles, which would cause problems for sellers who link to the threads on other sites.

However, I think this would be an excellent opportunity to use the prefix feature. Right now, I'm the only one with a thread with a prefix on Black Hat World, but this is what it looks like:

Since the prefix feature doesn't change the thread's title nor does it alter permalinks, we could add "BST" in the prefixes and avoid the problem I mentioned above.

Yeah.. That would do too provided everyone include it in their titles before posting!

EDIT: I tried a [METHOD] search even that is giving lot of unwanted results.

Provided you don't get 400 comments about 'nice share', ' thanks for this', ' is this still working' etc then these are informative guides in the whole. Some just end up 12 pages long with the important update to the method buried on page 6.

And that is why I gave this suggestion of having a seperate section for these. Searching the section is easier than as a whole.
