I'm a piece of shit to society, and for the last 5 years I have been living off small scams. I have never destroyed anyone's life, but I have scammed thousands of people. Small amounts, many people. I have tried a few ways to earn money honestly, but I can't, I am a shitbag, my only skill is to fool people. Any recommendations or should I just hang myself?

Don't hang yourself. Your recognition of the above is knowledge. People grow older and wiser as they age. You are obviously coming to grips with that. I admire you for creating this thread, honestly.

$30 scams
On the shitlist on this forum, within minutes, I saw scams worth hundreds and thousands of dollars. A scam is a scam, but no one has lost months of savings because of me.

I would say that 30% of the victims were refunded without any loss to me. I don't know where that sounds like a joke.
 
Honestly you can never know the extent of how badly your scams affected people, but if it's thousands of people as you say then it definitely did so much worse than you thought.

But at the same time you realise what you do is wrong so you shouldn't kill yourself.

To me your issue looks like a lack of work ethic and discipline.
You want to get rich fast and take shortcuts, because if you had the work ethic and discipline to keep trying legitimately then the "ways to earn money honestly" would have worked out by now, but instead, here you are.

Don't forget nobody is successful overnight.
Quit scamming people and start working properly and with time you will succeed. Nothing extremely profitable will happen quickly, but it's better than being a piece of shit scammer. But that's your choice to make.

This forum is full of scammers, there are members who participated for ten years, have that decorative blue badge, 5000 posts, 12000 reactions and today are banned because they stole thousands of dollars.

Take the opposite path, build a particular world (a profile on a social network with followers or a personal website with visitors from your niche) and offer services and products to this audience.

You don't know what people have lost because of you. Perhaps someone's rent payment that was due, was $20 shy, thanks to the $30 you stole from them.

How about if your $30 scam stressed someone out and they ended up in a traffic collision because they were busy thinking about your scam, while driving.

Maybe that was $30 of baby formula someone couldn't buy for their baby, because you stole it.

When you steal from people, you disrupt their lives.

If you have a natural talent to "fool" or "manipulate" people you should do great money in sales. Maybe you should look into that?
