I think Google Voice might be more reliable. Or Twilio and TextNow which should both solve your problem.
I only use them for verifications with no issues but haven’t tested BH

I ended up using a new service I found https://felixmerchant.com/ it worked, I could register for WhatsApp and I had my code in 30 seconds
