Just like for shares there are official bodies to check scams, why we cannot have the same for crypto ? It will take actions against fake promotions and other such deceptive measures taken by frauds.

That is the role of the government, and it is just a matter of time before this is the standard. The issue is that it requires all major exchanges to work together to refuse to ever support crypto tokens that launch outside of the regulatory bodies. You can't prevent new tokens from being issued, but you can make them incredibly unattractive so that everyone will just assume they must be scams.

Why you need regulation that is the consequence of a free market.Dumb money will always lose money they won't put their funds on a hardware wallets and treating the exchanges as some sort of bank to secure your funds.Asking the government to regulate your crypto is like allowing hackers to secure your PC for you.

All governments are not bad. Most of the governments have programs for the relief of people.

The point is crypto is unregulated if you need more regulation you should not be in crypto. Crypto is very risky I agree because if you don't think logical you can be scammed and unfortunately is nothing that can be done to prevent this

Shares are very old concept and running from long time. But with crypto, people are still just getting used to it.
