A Quick Way to Find Usable Proxies

This method involves some Google Hacking, I'm not sure if it's been shared here before, if it has I'm sorry and please delete this thread.

Basically what this Google query does is look for text files that people keep on their sites with proxies in them. Just type this string in to use it. You can also go to advanced setting and look for stuff from the last 24hrs, week, month etc, to find fresher proxies. Use Charon to scan em and ur set.

Code:

+":8080" +":3128" +":80" filetype:txt

That is awesome!

The advanced setting to look for stuff from the last 24hrs, week, month etc, brings up current lists.

If there was a way to know other port to add, or non standard ports, etc.

Probably just adding something like:
+":8080" +":3128" +":80" +"9090" filetype:txt

and addition ports

Yep, absolutely, beware though the majority of them are junk especially once you get past one week old so make you you filter them to find the working ones. And when you filter then make sure you see if they can access the website you want to use them for, Charon has that feature.

I have been using a similar query to find proxies but most of them don't work. If you have more time than money then this is a good option. If you have more money than time then your better off just paying them.

Well, you can just automate it using macros so really this shouldn't take much time, then its just a matter of copy paste into Charon and you're set. Usually I can get 50-100 off a run.

Thanks. That's what I meant.

I made an error with the space before the filetype:txt several times adding that in while copy/pasting the part you had posted I left that out on the last attempt to correct it.
