I found a KW with a monthly search volume of 18.000, and with a competition of 0.01 :)
How easy is that to rank for?

Could I just write 10-15 articles and post them on various blogging platforms and that would be it?
Of course my link or name would be included in the article.

Is it really that easy?

And thank you to both BHW and SEMrush for the free trial!!!!

Have you tried manually searching for that KW and looking at the top 10.
See how their On Page SEO is ? What about backlinks ? Metrics TF/CF/PA/DA/Age ?

Never rely on a software to say that it's easy or not. DO your research once you know more about your competitors you can decide if you want to tackle that KW or not.

There is no sure way that you can rank a keyword using 4000 PR links until you actually try it.

Good you found a way to find good keywords now you'll need to analyze your top competitors and see what they do and have to keep those rankings and you may need to overwrite them to get in to the Top.
