Morning all - this will probably be the last post I make before I unplug the laptop and give myself a weeks holiday (with the family of course!) somewhere with no internet and extremely bad phone reception, forcing me to have a tech free week. I think the beach will distract me enough.

However, before I go I am thinking a big longer term for the bot business I have found myself in. To be perfectly honest I didn't expect it to take off so well, and I now have people coming to me daily to get quotes etc (apologies for having to turn some of you guys down, I just don't have enough hours in the day anymore!) so have now come to a fork in the road.

I have looked at some of the other bot makers around the web and there is one main difference between the camps:

1. Some people (like me) charge per bot.
2. Some people charge a monthly fee and you get access to all the public bots.

I would like to know what option people would prefer?

I like the idea of 2, as that gives everyone access to everything for a monthly fee but I would expect people to want at least 1 new bot per month to keep it attractive.

Anyway, look forward to some of your replies and advice - take it easy and see you in a week or so :)

PS: I know I have notices on my site, but if you have bought a bot from me there will be very limited support from tomorrow until the 1st August due to the connectivity issues where I am going. NO bots will be sold or activated during the next week or so but any activated bots will continue to run. If a website makes a change which renders a bot dead in the water it will be addressed on my return!

I guess it matters on how much the person relies on bots. You can have both features and people can use option 2 as a trial before they buy the bot. Or if they use bots often they can use your 2nd feature as like a BOTFLY! (Game Fly).

Option 2 works fine for a coder i know, for years now.

give both the options. if a person wants just one bot and doesnt need all the other ones, then whats the point of forcing them to buy all the other ones. if says someone would use 4-5 of the bots, then give them the option of option 2. i think having both options up would be the best idea

I actually posted a thread similar to this a couple weeks ago. Results were that people didn't mind paying per month if updates are provided continuously. That's what I ended up doing.

Option 2 is my choice as long it get updated for any major update release...

Yeah...Mine is also Option# 2...In this way, we can get access to ALL bots for one price instead of getting just one bot for one price!

Option 2 sounds amazing but I have seen many "option 2" services and they disappoint me.

I choose Option 1

Hmm if i was you i would like to make everybot with its own price!
Some people are only coming for one bot and some for more :)

So why not having a monthly package for every bot (option 1) or a lifetime package (option 2) and a montly package for all bots (option 3) :)

Just my ideas :P :D
