A question about VPS and sending mass txt messages

Hi all,

I am wondering is there anyone out there that uses some software on a VPS to send mass text messages to promote products etc? I can get my hands on a VPS but am looking for a "free" software that is able to send out mass text messages to any worldwide mobile phone number. Also would the VPS have to be bulletproof?

You can get a virtual credit card easily, upload money to that and buy vps. Not sure about software to send mass text messages though and how do you plan to make money? If its CPA you could get reported and banned very easily.
