A question about PR updates.

Here is another thing I don't quite get. Will keyword rankings improve when the next PR update comes? I've heard people say when it comes it changes on that date. But others say that the PR is always being updated every day, and that the PR update days are just when Google publicly releases the info on a sites PR.

Thoughts?

There is no "PR update", the PR is "dynamic" and change everyday.
But you only see when Google displays the "new" PR.

So there is no ranking moves when you see your pr "update".

My advice - do your job and do not take care about PR update. It will be when it will be

If I am right, you are asking if your website will rise on the Google rankings by using PR updates. Right?
The answer is no. PR updates will not provide you higher Google rankings.
