Recently started learning little bit of SEO. Since I am newbie, thought about trying Micro Niche Site.

What I have learned so far is that Micro Niche sites are suppose to be easy to rank, with much less content than average sites.

What I want know is.

Does My Micro Niche Sites has to be EDM (Exact Domain Match with my Keywords) ?
I already have hosting and Three domain under my name, The only trouble is I don't have anymore money to buy exact Domain match.

So what can I do ?

Will creating sub-domain on my original domain help for ranking?

for example my keywords are "Paleo for old people" (Exact Domain Match = paleoforoldpeople.com )

Since I don't hava any money at the moment. What If I create Subdomian on my original Domian (supersizelife.com) like this --> Paleo-for-old-people-supersizelife.com

What I want to know is that, Is Exact Domain Match must for a Micro Niche Sites or Can I can make it up for it with Good content and few extra backlinks,
and other SEO stuff.

You can make MNS without EMDs, you could try PMD (partial match domains). But I wouldn't recommend using subdomains, if your main domain get's penalised you lose everything.

EMDs are works much better than subdomains, however I tried EM subdomains and they works well with unique content.

Did you just post your real website and niche in your original post? If so then you need to consider removing that quickly. Now for MNS sites I prefer going with an exact match domain and that tends to work out well.

If you really want to do it right then buy an expired domain with decent DA. You might be able to find one relevant to your keywords but it can be a tough find. My policy is the smaller the site the more likely I will use a EMD, however the larger the site the more I think about brandabity.

rabbitking is right: if that's your site and your niche, then you might want to remove that, AND FAST...

Anyways, if you're looking to make an EMD, just know that you need some stellar content to not get penalized, because Google doesn't like spammy-looking sites.

So, if you're going to go with an EMD, you need to excel in content.

Subdomains might be simpler to rank (since they can feed off the juice of your main site), and with unique content, it'll be easier. But, as has already been mentioned, it's all losable if that one site tanks.

Thanks OP for asking this out.

It sure clears a lot of doubts in me too :)
