Hi guys,

I am starting a new brand. The brand (Which is the domain name as well) is made up. Which means there's zero competition on Google.

Whenever you google my brand name (Which is again, my domain as well), it will show up on SERP as the only link.

I am looking to build some articles, such as fake reviews about the product etc so whenever someone will google my brand name he will see these Guest posts.

Now here's the thing, I need to make sure it will show on SERP, I did purchase one guest post a month ago which doesn't show up in case someone google my brand.

My question is, why? The brand name is non exist, if I just write it on some random forum, it will show up. Why does it doesn't show up with guest post I purchased? Does the site need to be high quality with high DA although it's just random madeup name?

I do not mind to pay more $ for each guest post but I need to make SURE it will show up on SERP. I be grateful if someone can clarify what should I be looking for before purchasing the guest post.

Something to mention - I am not looking for Do follow links, getting traffic from the guest post etc etc, I don't care at all, All I want is to have this article on google when someone google the name of my brand.

Thanks in advance!

because no one googled your brand, AFAIK the looking up of your brand in google needs to happen multiple times, from multiple IPs, and constantly over weeks / months in order for google to show it as suggest term.

And if you mean that the guest post about your brand didn't show up then this might be because it's probably not indexed. If it is indexed, I don't know then...

Does the site need to be high quality with high DA although it's just random madeup name?
nope! It has nothing to do with high quality / authority in this particular case, just check whether the guest post's URL is indexed in google. This is probably why it doesn't show up

if google knows that your brand exists then they will show content for it providing that the content IS indexed as I said (3 times already)

I be grateful if someone can clarify what should I be looking for before purchasing the guest post.
typically, you will want guest posts on sites that...

1) are clean / safe / not penalized / not seen as link farms by google (link farms = sites that link out to websites like yours with every / almost every post that they publish)

2) are ranked in google and get at least a few 100s UVs a month from google (not mandatory, but it's one of those minor SEO things that helps)

3) provide you with d0-follow links. You should never ignore nofollow links as they're part of a naturally growing backlinks profile, but when you get guest posts you want most of them to give you d-o-follow links, otherwise you'll get no SEO value (link juice, equity, authority or whatever you want to call it) out of those backlinks

4) only link out to your website(s) from the guest post. I mean, if they also link out to wikipedia or other big, authority sites in your niche that's fine, but they shouldn't link out to other affiliate / content sites like yours because then you'd split the link juice with your competition. Also, try to insert the backlinks into the 1st paragraph of the content if possible, and also make sure to use your most important link there (for example, if you are allowed 2 backlinks per guest post and 1 of those links you want to point to an inner page of your site that you wish to rank, then insert the backlink to this inner page in the 1st paragraph of the guest post, and the other link - which most of the time will point to the homepage of your site - you can include it wherever you want.)

Why would you want to do this? I don't know! I just heard some folks saying that this matters, so if it's not much trouble anyway I think you should do it :)

for the 4th time... the content that mentions your brand NEEDS TO BE INDEXED first! If it's not in google's database how is google going to show it to its users ?!? Make sure that the content that mentions your brand is indexed first, and then, with enough time (1-2 months I would say, but could be weeks) and enough searches of your brand by various people google will start showing it. Which means that you should start working on making your brand known (create social media profiles, run Press Releases, maybe run some PPC ads for brand-related keywords if you can afford it, also run a "brand awareness" campaign in Google and Facebook ads, etc).... Do all of these and I guarantee you that your brand will start showing up in no time :)

Thanks a lot for your explanation! The brand is new but I am already getting above 5k organic searches on Google.

I noticed that in the guest post I purchased my brand wasn't mentioned but only hyperlink which goes directly to the site.

Thanks again, it is all clear now
