Hey there guys. I put some serious work into a large site (over 50k pages big), and google indexed all that very quickly and ranked me....

I thought I could duplicate that decent success by creating the next site doing the same thing. The problem is google isnt indexing me on the 2nd site. The 2nd site has completely new CSS and new content. I did some manual backlinks to the new site (fb page, squidoo lens, twitter account, pinterest, submit to reddit/stumpleupon and such), and even bought some traffic from a related site that from doing so also gives me a link back. I have tried pinging the site also. I have sitemaps sumbitted as well. Its been about four weeks now.

Why isnt google indexing me?

Do you have a decent internal linking structure? Do you have an HTML sitemap too?

whats the time frame look like? How fast are you adding the content?

Well, things don't happen the same way all the time unfortunately..

Are you sure your content on the new site is unique? If not, that could be the answer of your question.

Try to build quality backlinks, that should do the trick if your site is not pure spam.

The linking structure is the same as the first site. We changed the name of where stuff was held for example Photos called Pictures so it wouldnt look just like a cloned site to goog (which is also why we COMPLETELY revamped the CSS), stuff like this. The content from the new site IS different from the first site, obviously with so many pages its not hand written stuff, but it is of the same quality for sure.

I have an XML sitemap that is submitted to google.
