Let's say I hired 1000 people to create a TikTok/Short/Reel (I plan to do this on all the major platforms) on a topic of their choosing and put a short promotional clip about my brand at the beginning of it. If all 1000 users included the exact same ad in their videos, would that be considered duplicate content even if the rest of the video was original? and if that's the case, what's a practical way to do this without being penalized by the algorithm?

Thank you all.

Still looking for an answer.

No, it is not duplicate content because it is considered intro video, but placing the ad in the beginning of the video is not a wise idea.
This is not the official point of view, it is just MY point of view (but I'm 99% positive that I'm right), anyways I know that you will not hire so many people as you said because the investment is huge...

I won't exactly "hire" people, I just worded the example that way to make it easier to understand.

Just look at all the Andrew tate videos, they are all recycled tens of thousands of times, some get views some don't which is normal but one won't get affected cause someone else posted it in their TikTok

Thank you for your reply.

Any more insights?

Hey, do not worry. It will not be called a duplicate content. I understand that you will be promoting the content on various platforms like Tiktok and You tube. It will be published on many different accounts. If any creator receives a duplicate content notice (as in You Tube for example) they can safely ignore it and nothing will happen.

There are millions of stock footages used across billions of videos over social media and that is not considered duplicate. Yours being the promotional content will not be called duplicate too.

My real concern is whether the reach of the videos is going to be lowered.
I've heard TikTok and YouTube are especially strict about this subject, and including even just a few frames of another video can get your content shadowbanned.

Well in that case many channels should get shadow banned because you see there are numerous videos contain footage from various sources that is repetitive. I still believe you will not face any problem.

I agree on this, i wouldnt put it in the beginning but rather the end. Even most TikTok money makers rather put it in the end of the video.

It depends on how short the clip is because if you're worried about videos containing ads being considered duplicates, keep in mind that there are so many TikTok videos mentioning a sponsor.

They don't get flagged.

A lot of them do really well.

Focus on the quality of your ad as well as its length.

If it is short enough, yet powerful enough, you should do fine.

How short do you think it should be?

I found interesting thing on the web yesterday.
often, big media companies using same content and titles on their multiple domain ssites.

The interesting thing is - here is an example (hearst media) , they using same title on all sites;
"We Love This Space-Saving Storage Lamp - and Now It's Only $75

Claro, with this they gain multiple serp traffic . You will wonder whey they not got any ban from big brother G ....
That makes me think all the google rules (most of them) like ; we not index double content, we ban that blablbalba...is all propaganda.
Often these big boys are in google news too and their sites have a lot of ads/ affiliate promotion on it, moment it's forbidden in google news uhh ohh....?

You see this daily on big media news sites the have near the same content and title on their news articles from reuters as example, the same happenend all over the world include my country germany.
Yes they not have all 1:1 the same article content, a little bit rewriting but not much.

G not index many good quality posts from us, but index all from these companies and never push out a ban on these companies? So there must be something wrong what we are doing, something wrong with G ? Or we not understand the mysterious dystopian google rules?

I will try it with 2 small affiliate sites, each daily content curation only 20% rewritten (near same content on both sites) and 5 product reviews (near the same) as side experiment to see what will happen in google in 3-4 months, on cold traffic sales.

Maybe I can make little bit money with this to reinvest in my primary big main coaching (high ticket retainer) business site, the retainer main site will take a little bit longer to get the first 5 clients from Linkedin I guess without building email list.
On the small hustle sites I not use my real name and address so it should not have negative impact in my retainer business coaching main site.

Dystopian words; "My Life- My Money" to what I should assciate this in my brain? To gangsters and mafia? To websites???

Happy Weekend !
