A question about dropshipping.

I've never been a reseller, so im a total newbie when it comes to dropshipping. I found the product im selling as an affiliate on tradetang.com and it was listed for around $500, but it sells on amazon for $1000. Isnt that a tad unrealistic?

What is the usual difference between wholesale and rrp?

Btw, theres also the same product selling on the tradetang for $700 is it normal to have that much difference in price with wholesalers?

I have never used tradetang.com, but with many sites like that it is normal to find that much difference in price. I would also suggest looking around other sites like eBay to see what the item is selling for. Be sure to make sure that the supplier is legitimate! I peeked at the site and it reminds me a lot of Alibaba. With Alibaba, just because the supplier is listed on the site doesn't make it a legitimate one!

I think i might go for some local wholesalers in Auckland city. Going to ask around. I know a guy that has been reselling computers for a long time. Will ask him how I should go about it.
