hi all, i need your help about something.
if i buy a domain name with a good page rank does it mean
that my site will have a good page rank or its all about my sites
page ranks and not the domain page rank?
is there anything positive in having a domain with page rank and
    creating a site on it?

You can maintain a good pagerank if the old links stay in place or if you build new links to the site

Google looks at backlinks to calculate the pagerank. If the backlinks stay in place then the pagerank stays the same but if the backlinks disappear then the pagerank drops.

Pagerank is the rank of a specific page not the rank of a whole domain. When people talk about the pagerank of a domain they usually mean the rank of the root. You can pass pagerank to different pages on your site by linking them together
