I understand that a homepage backlinks need to be:

    40% generic
    20% url variations
30% keywords (top 5 keywords you would like to rank for)
    10% lsi keywords

Or something close to the above estimates. But that brings my question to inner pages. Lets say I want to rank for "jamorama review" should I use the same model? Does google care that these links are the same ones that also are giving me backlinks to my homepage? Like web 2.0 sites backlinking my homepage and also my innerpages.

Also what looks more natural to google click here, go here or my main keywords showing up first like for the homepage like "learn to play guitar"? Does google want to see more backlinks to my homepage or innerpages? Thanks.

Make 50-50 to homepage and the innerpages.

Check what the top ranking sites in your niche have done and copy them as much as you can while adding your own creativity to it.

These are general, rule-of-thumb ratios that are good to follow when the site is in the infant stages and you're testing the niche. Like healthyniches said, to truly take down a niche, you're going to have to modify these ratios for the specific niche. Many times I find that ratios like the ones you listed above are even too conservative and I need to jack up the keywords to 50%.

That being said, dont forget to include your brand anchors in the distribution. Home page should have about the same number of Brand anchors as URL variations (I try to keep the combined total to about 50% (25-25) in the beginning). For inner pages, I might shift it over to be about 10% Brand - 40% URL.

Note: Btw, 40% Generic is pretty darn high.

The best advice I can give you is, check what the competition is doing. Every niche is going to be different. Don't take everything you read as gospel on the boards.

Most times there is little point ranking several URLs for the same keywords.
Best to rank them for associated keywords and build a silo like structure. This also begins the process of positioning your site as an authority in the wider niche rather than a cash grab micro site.
Interlink a little of course, but don't go mad with that. Good site navigation should do most of the work for you here.

In my experience the best approach is designing each campaign on individual basis. Not all sites are the same, they don't have to have same inner page structure. If you want your SEO campaign to look natural, don't look for general rule, but think in a way what would look natural.

This ratio is damn good but when write content for your site don't focus to much on your keyword. Write quality content for the readers not the Google bot.
