A Question about Aged Domain! Plz help...

Hi there,

I just purchased some old aged domains with high PR, however, I just found some of these domains used to be porn, and pharmacy sites, only after I already bought them.

So, i am wondering what u guys suggest on using such niche domains?? If i backlink from these websites to my money(yeah, NOT porn or drugs niche..), will this hurt my money site ranking or index???

i could not use these aged domains to build a new website with total different niche, could i??

Someone here could plz make me clear for this..

Check the backlinks. You'll probably find the owners let them expire because they were penalized.
 
I would suggest you to not use them. And buy some new ones. But this time before buying the domains verifying the domain names properly. Using them to link to your main website could be harmful as the link juice will also pass through. Links coming from low quality website will hurt your website.
 
Another way is you can quickly sell the aged with high PR domain names for good money or may be exchange it - check SEDO marketplace (google the address).

I think this is smart choice to sell these and buy some new again

that's why I always try to check such things before I buy a domain, I always site: it to see if it's not banned
 
or put them in gwt send an e-mail you are new owner of them and they will lift a ban
 
yeah, I already checked site:domain.com, before buy them

when i checked these domains, some of them are only one page index in G, but NOT display website niche, only some domain information....

later then i checked from BLs, and found lots of drugs and porn words anchor text....

BTW, where u guys go if u want to sell domains??

I would recommend you to register new domain name rather use the old domain name. Bring your popularity from below. Feel the journey. :)
 
I would suggest you to not use them, as for sure will harm your money site. Better start from basics.
 
If the domains are not penalized, then you can just build good sites on them and use them as a little link network.
 
I really doubt they will have a negative impact... The guy rank #1 on payday loans online has many blog network links from domains which were previously spammed with "buy Viagra online" keywords.
 
Thinking out loud but would redirecting these aged high PR domains to a new domain work? Or would the link juice pass along as before?
 
I would say leave those domains. Yes you can use them if you are working for some "churn and burn" method where you dont care if you get penalty after some time..
