why not just use notepad?

or simply open a new tab with your user cpanel in it and use the personal notepad there?

if using firefox you can just use the following to nav between tabs:

Next Tab = Ctrl+Tab
Previous Tab = Ctrl+Shift+Tab

silly me I didn't even notice it...scratch my suggestion
