Hi guys,

Im pretty new to the forums and I was lurking for about a week before I made my first post. One thing I have found from reading through the BHW forums is that there is so much information I'm finding it hard to know where to start. What I'd like to do if anyone is interested, is to use this thread to document me starting from scratch, updating it with the strategies Im using while I test and use them and post what my earnings and progress are with these tactics.

I will start with what I have done this week. At the start of the week I bought a dating website and hosting. I have 2 other domains with hosting that I have not been using up until now so I am going to start setting some things up with them throughout the week and post exactly what I am doing at the weekend.

Because everyone has to start somewhere, I signed up for webcams[dot]com last night and started to e-whore last night and made $50 for 2 hours work. I am going to ewhore a few evenings this week, gather some funds and move on to stage 2 of my IM learning curve.

Hopefully people will find this is useful as I progress, If nobody is interested in this kind of thread, or it is not allowed then Mods please remove it.

Total earnings to date: $50

I was thinking of doing that but thought it could be useful to other new people like myself if it was on the BHW forums. Im totally green and thought maybe an informative thread with progress reports etc might help other new folks like me. :)

Not sure if people want to read about it or not though, or if the mods/admin would rather I posted offsite.

i agree, a blog would be interesting to read.

I would certainly subscribe to it.

hmm i have similar problemo, i have 5 domain name,2 hosting, but never made a penny. I install niche vide site just a moment on 1 domain and finish up my clickbank review site and advertise using adwords so hopefully it will give me something, i dont have any idea for the other 3 domain. If im going to blog them i dont think im into blog. I dont want to waste them because i pay them :p.

Any idea much appreciated

Congrats on taking initiative and diving right in, even if its ewhoring. Many just read ebooks and lounge around thinking about how much money they'd make if they did <X> or <Y> method, but never do anything about it.

I tried e-whoring but never worked, or maybe never tried enough, I'm glad you've started making money :D keep us informed.

Congratulations

Blog ? you have to write a lot to get anywhere blogging. Blogging means search engine optimization and you have to deal with that. If you choose this path, focus on a niche that you have a passion about. If you try to blog about something you have no knowledge or passion for, then you will find it very tiresome, and a hard process coming up with unique content?and if you don?t plan to have unique content then you might as well forget about it. Duplicate or spinned content requires much effort as writing your own, so don?t think spidering the web and spinning some articles will do well for SEO, your efforts will prove futile. I know because I?ve tried. You should not focus on optimizing for one specific search engine. I get fair results from Yahoo, so whiles Google takes long with their longsome process of filtering, sandboxing, etc. I could be optimizing for Yahoo, and I do, with good results. So whiles you shouldn?t focus on one search engine, treat the one that?s treating your blog. Blogging requires effort, time, true passion and commitment, and not the best thing for a quick buck! This is SEO, and you don?t see results from SEO overnight. It may take well over a month before you earn your first dollar through blogging.

Freelancing ? this is freelancing. You do work, such as writing articles, designing, etc. almost all freelancing jobs are direct do-work-and-get-paid systems. You could write some articles, and get paid by whatever set price your boss sets. You could code software if you can code software, finish the job and get paid. If you can design, you can design some designs, logos, templates, etc. and get paid once the work is complete (take for example, our BHW Logo and Template contest, if you design something that turns out to be with your boss chooses, he will pay you for it, $100 bux in this case, for an example). There are many freelancing websites where you can find jobs, where you can view clients? wanted-ads and respond to them. If you have skills, you can earn money. By freelancing, it is possible to earn money the first night or completed job, which can be whenever you complete the job, similar to real-life traditional jobs.

Promotion ? posting on classified ads sites, posting on social bookmarking sites, spamming myspace and social networking sites, etc. or in a whitehat way, buying ads on adwords and using it with CPA systems (a lot of methods shared on this forum), etc. the result depends on how much you work, and how persuasive you make you ad-campaigns, how long it lasts, and how well you have chosen your niche. This is basic promotion-marketing and there are many methods on this forum, along with many systems and software to mass promote, signup, post, etc. and systems that help you create effective campaigns. Cookie stuffing, spamming, etc falls under here. Keywords: HaRRo, havokb8, Bodeezy, Genjutsi etc. :)

Thanks for the advice Samloron ;) Im not really looking to write about this for profit though, just to help out and encourage my fellow newbies at BHW. I'm grateful you've posted who's threads I should look at for promotional techniques, I will give them a look and will incorporate what I learn into my projects Im going to be starting in the coming weeks.

good stuff kjarva, i'm interested whether here or on a blog of your own. Always good to see others going down similar paths and watching their progress!

good job Kjarva on making your 1st profits. Now that I got that out of the way.. where do I view the *cough* webcam show-- :) pm me :) I have some web profits to spend. I just hope you look like your avatar..lol

Unless you are ready to go all out, a blog can be tedious. Documenting your progress on here would be great for other noobs.

I suggest you do all your documentation in one thread. You could find another suitable color for your progress reports for your thread. That would distinguish your reports from other posts and it would be easier to follow.

I think I'm going to do a bit of both :) I now have a blog up at blogspot, which I will update with events as and when they happen but I will also whack a shorter version of it in here too to keep the thread alive. :)

blog is at: http://noobsjourney.blogspot.com/

Nice post mate. You are doing what everyone should be doing though: taking action. Plenty of people can see that there is money to be made, and in what fields, but just knowing is not enough. It is good to see a post where someone is actually doing something to make a buck rather than wanting everyone else to do it for them. I think you are off to a great start [$25/hr not so bad =P] and just only have one thing to say: pace yourself-- do not try to attack multiple jobs as you will get burned out.
