- Submitted a very short article quite late.

I think my UV was distorted as I uploaded a lot of pictures manually to Pinterest and seemed to get a 'visit' from a different IP every time I did so. So I don't know whether they are real visits or not? I am still struggling to get ranked for my keyword but I'm still in week 2 so I will keep trying. The key to this project is cracking that.

I am continuing with this project but having to be patient for my UV's to organically grow. They shot up over the last couple of days but I realised most of it was bots trying to make back-links. Anyway I have experimented with doing absolutely nothing today and I am still going to get over 50 UV's. I am starting to get more traffic (though still not much) from Google from various long tail kw's and have found my site top of page 10 for my kw. I will continue to post new, fresh articles every day or two. As a tip, I have been looking for specific news articles related to my niche that allow me to comment as my Facebook fan page. You can do this by searching Google, filtering to news and select last 24 hours. This has been quite successful in building a returning audience.
That's all to report for now. I am looking at other projects and plan on starting some PPD soon. I will continue to update this thread every so often, hopefully with news on the Google placement of my kw. As a reminder, I have paid for no services whatsoever in this project. I hope that it works and that it may inspire those who do not have capital to invest but still wish to succeed.
