I require a bit of advice from those who've been or still are in the PPD warzone. I took serious approach and went into the PPD war with others. I read a post here on BHW about how to make money with PPD so I took the action and actually followed the guide. I choose a niche, created my own blog using wordpress and promoted my links in various ways. Those are my stats for 3 weeks so far:

  • Total of 3,500 unique website views so far
  • 30 Downloads worth of $22.00
  • I get daily around 300 targeted unique views and still rising every single day
  • I get average of 3-4 downloads a day now

Are those good stats so far? Should I continue with what I am doing? or shall I move to another niche? I need advice, please add me on skype - luky-west (always active on skype) to discuss this with me. Thanks and I hope I posted this in the right section.

First of all don't waist your time with PPD networks, go with CPA because they have much better and more paying offers. Those are average stats for a beginner and not so good... that is depending how much you work. I suggest you to try SEO and FB traffic (that is what I do). Also you need more niches to scale your earnings. Good luck to you!

If you're learning and by the sound of it you are, then those stats are perfect mate. Don't make earning money your main focus, find a method and keep working to improve it. You do that and the money will come in by it's self. As Snake said, CPA would be the better option. They pay more, PPD networks are pretty much a middleman. It never hurts to test, if you find PPD is working out better for you then stick with it.

People will generally say more niches = more money. In some cases it can be true but a well designed LP can do wonders to your your conversion rate.
Keep it up :)

Keep in mind who your target audience is, and try to promote it a little more. As with that LiquidSnake said, I'm inclined to agree. CPA will yield much better results than PPD

Thanks everyone for the quick respond. Many others told me to go with CPA instead and I agree. People don't tend to trust PPD sites no more as their landing page is always the same. With CPA I can now customize my pages and choose my own offers which is amazing. Can't wait to see the difference.

For the love of fuck... It seems like everyone is misusing the terms so here we go (once again):
PPD = Pay Per Download - for instance HotFiles, FileFactory etc. The payout ranges from a few dollars to $35 per 1k downloads (depending on the tier).
CPA = Cost Per Action - I sincerely hope I don't need to explain this.
Incentive CPA - as you'd think - CPA offers promoted with a user incentive.

Content lockers are used to promote incentive CPA offers. It does NOT matter whether you host the locker/end content yourself or not. Simply because you're using a service to host your content lockers and end content (such as FileIce) does NOT mean you're doing PPD. In fact they pay per CPA completion - the user doesn't even have to download the file.

CPA is CPA - PPD is PPD - get it through your skulls.

Could you let here the tutorial you had seen? I'd like to read it too. Thank you !

isn't cleanfiles and sharecash ppd? at least people call it that way, and when you are on cleanfiles website it says ppd there somewhere.
but i tested cleanfiles and it is a *content locker*? well or how you call it better. CPA? because you need to use ur number or so on like.. WIN AN IPHONE 6 thing... and after you fill it, THEN you can download the file..
so it's PPD, but not really PPD... you theoretically *pay* for the file, but all you do is do the offer, and you don't even need to download the file aat the end after you have done the offer.
am i right??

and REAL PPF is where you get paid 7$ plus and minus for 1k downloads. am i right? so fileice, and cleanfils isn't really ppd?

Like I said; it doesn't matter what the reward is (file, link, password, etc.) - what determines the type is how the network is monetizing the user.
PPD networks monetize the user by having them wait for their download and prompting them to sign up as a premium user to remove the restrictions.
FI/CF are NOT PPD's since they pay for the survey and TBH don't care whether the user downloads the file or not (heck as long as they UNLOCK the file you're getting paid).

Then again, the PPD industry has faded heavily during the last couple of years due to DMCA takedowns; but that still doesn't change the definition of the term.

well then pay for the survey thing is better.. because no many will buy premium sign ups and so on...
