Firstly, please pardon my bad English as I'm not a native speaker. I'm also a newbie in the Internet Marketing world, having started only about 5 months back.
I am starting this thread to keep myself motivated and for accountability reasons.. I also hope this thread will be able to help me to share and also learn more from other experienced members.
My goal is to get an average of $500 a day earnings with 2 websites. 1 'semi-authority' which is already running and earning me more money, and a new 'authority website'. My target is to reach the $500 a day earning by 31st December 2015.
To be honest, I've started about 3 websites before.. Which all failed terribly. However that didn't make me quit and I kept on reading, experimenting, reading, experimenting. I can still remember how I spent almost 16-18hours a day from January-April 2015.
From January-March, I started about 3 websites.. Which all failed as I didn't plan properly, I can't remember exactly but I think I lost about $1000-$1500 on that 3 websites.
My current semi-authority blog
However, I got my 'eureka moment' in Mid March and started a new blog (my current semi-authority website). It started to earn money which brings in about $100-$300 a week up to late april.
Recently for the past 3 weeks, it's been really encouraging. My earnings started to skyrocket and for the past 3 weeks I'm able to earn about $1k a week, with at least $100 earning per day. You can see the picture below..
With this website.. My short term goal is to optimize the earnings and make it able to EARN AT LEAST $300 a day. As you can see from the picture above the earnings is not stable and flunctuates between $100 - $300.
What I Will Do With This Current Blog
After reading more and more, although I am not a native speaker, I am confident that I know how to do ON-PAGE SEO optimization better and write more engaging articles/reviews. So I will be writing more articles and reviews.
Some question for experienced members, is it normal for traffic to drop on weekends? And some days, I noticed alot of hops/clicks to my affiliate links.. alot of order form impression, however the conversion is low? Somedays, the hops/clicks are lesser, however my sales/earnings are high.
Besides writing more articles/reviews, what will you advise me to do so that I can make my earnings stable?
And with this current blog, I also capture emails by giving a free ebook.. however I must admit that I am not doing so well with the emails leads.. I don't know how to really optimized them to earn more $$$$. I tried to be agressive before by sending broadcast, but many unsubscribe although I get a sale or two. Any recommendations on how to make more money with email list will be deeply appreciated.
My New Authority Website
I have also just started a new authority website. I'm doing the best I can to optimized the on-page seo. This website just started about a week ago.
What I plan to do with it now.. is to write more contents (and also buy some contents but I will edit them to suit my writing style). I plan to have at least 100 HQ articles before I start monetizing them. I aim to get my 100 articles up before July. I will also be capturing emails for this website.
I will not build backlinks until July, however I will be sending social signals. My goal is to make this website clean and plan the backlinks properly without spamming. Basically I'm giving what google wants, be a valuable part of the internet and provide quality content useful for users.
I am sure I am doing it better now as my main URL is already indexed and ranked for its keyword within a week of me posting up the homepage with my 2k word article. It's dancing between 70-80 in google. I know this is nothing for most of you, but I am happy as this is the first time I am able to be ranked/indexed by google faster, and WITHOUT any backlinks.
I have about 6 articles up already, with 3 articles more then 2k words and the other 3 articles with about 1k-1.5k words. I already have another 3 articles ready, however I am not publishing it yet as I have just read about SILO and trying to fully understand it.
Do you guys have any great reference for silo-ing on wordpress?
After I've fully understood SILO-ing, I will probably delete the posted articles and repost them again using silo-ing.
My main goal with this website is to make it a 'super authority' website on a niche within a niche
(if you get what I mean, sorry for my bad english) with at least 100 articles before I start to monetize it.
I am thinking of monetizing it with clickbank again (clickbank is the only thing I know how to work with). Do you guys have any other idea on how I can monetize the website besides clickbank?

I will be updating daily or once every 2 days, to keep myself accountable and report what I have done.
