A new YouTuber here needs advice

Hello everyone.

I just joined this forum, its rich of information I need. But I am new to this kind of approch so I need your help!

I have recently started a youtube channel where i have uploaded 300+ videos of my gameplay of a certain game. However, i dont seem to get much traffic to my videos.
I need some advice what I should do from here on. I have read the stickies but I really dont know how certain things work and where to start.

Please help me being a succesfull youtuber!

It is a very popular game played worldwide. There are a few other youtuber uploading videos of this game with success. One video floating around has a million views. But mine dont even reach the 100 views.

First things first. You have to check out your analytics, where do these people find your videos? Suggested videos or search? To get a decent amount of views it is vital to rank well in the search engine. If people don't find you, how will they watch your videos? Check out your keywords and tags, the must be in line with the argument of your video. Your keywords must be also in the title and description in a certain way. Example: your video is a gameplay of, let's say, Bioshock Infinite.
Then you can do like this: put Bioshock Infinite gameplay in the title, they are your main keywords. Put these keywords also in the description, like "Bioshosk infinite gameplay during the mission bla bla" just make sure you have your main keywords in both title and description. Use appropriate tags, like for example "bioshock infinite gameplay, bioshock, infinite, gameplay, bioshock infinite, bioshock gameplay, and all inherent keywords, like weapons, enemies, skyline, and things that are in your video, in every order you can put the words. Can't explain in details how the algorithm precisely works, it's long and difficult and mysterious, but it privileges the exact match of keywords, so try to put keywords in every order you can.
Also try to make a catchy title, like: Bioshock Infinite, the racists try to stop me! (gameplay), or something like that.
These are the most basics advices I can give you, there are more complex things, but you can worry of those later, try to make some experience first.
There are also some tools that tell you the keywords searched in the search engine, you can find them on google, they'll be useful.

Thanks for your reply. So you are saying if i use bioshock as example, i would normally use keywords like: bioshock, infinite, gameplay.. Etc. but you are saying i should also not separate a sentence right? So the keywords should look more like: bioshock infinite gameplay, gameplay bioshock infinite, bioshock infinite, bioshock, infinite etc. You are saying make every possible combination, is that right?
 
Oh another thing.. I have read many threads about enhanceviews.. does that program still work? if so, is there a toturial out there how to use it? Thanks for all the help
 
Yes, that's right. Beyond mysteries, it is assured that youtube algorithm privileges exact match and order for the keywords. For example, if there are two videos, if we don't consider other conditions, one is tagged "Bioshock, infinite, gameplay" and the other "Bioshock infinite gameplay", if I search "Bioshock infinite gameplay", the video that has in the tags "Bioshock infinite gameplay" will probably rank better than the one with "Bioshock, infinite, gameplay" because of the exact match in keywords. Another example, if there are two videos with the following tags: The first "Bioshock infinite gameplay" and the second "gameplay Bioshock infinite", if I search "gameplay Bioshock infinite", the second will probably rank better than the other because of the exact match in the order of keywords. Order and exact match are your first weapon in this battle.
 
Enhance views is having some trouble these days, can't guarantee for views, but youtube likes don't work well, I suggest you to try something else for now.

I just upload them.. I dont know how i get more viewers. Lately i do have gotten more clicks because i increased some comments on a few vids.

Btw: Do I get in trouble if i use enhanceviews to increase subscribers while the YT account is connected with adsense? And what is the max subscribers i should add with enhanceviews in 1 day without getting suspicious?
 
No one knows that for sure. I often see channels with 10k or more subscribers, all of them surely fake (it seems a bit strange to me to have 10k subscribers and not even 100 views per video), and some times I find channels with more subscribers than views... so I'm not sure about how youtube finds and bans accounts, just try not to exaggerate. In terms of realism, if you get 1000-2000 views per day 5-6 subscribers are a realistic number of subscribers, so if you add another 5-6 subscribers per day you won't probably get caught. Unfortunately I know a guy that adds a million views the first day he uploads a video and adds 50-60 subscribers per day with sometimes only 20-30 views per day (yes, more subscribers than views) and his channel is still online, so I really can't tell.
 
Its best to disable adsense, then get subscribers, after that you can enable adsense! Its best to be safe!
 
Try this tip(Worked for me)
Make a facebook page, invite friends, and then try making a giveaway.
Make a video, tell them to subscribe and comment below the video. The winner will be selected from the comments on video!!

GulKhan gave you a good advice. Something like that allways works for me. Its fast and cheap and most importantly - it works!
 
Do what I have done, I started maybe a month ago and I am at 101 subs. Less uploads, better content. 300 videos is ALOT. Are you putting enough time into them? Another thing you should do is work on speaking to other youtube gamers. Get a collaboration so you are introduced into different fan bases.

I have a competition on my channel at the moment and its getting a few comments ect on it :)

hmmm.... if u so far havent gained views by reloading ur own video pages for multiple times then ur 301+ count is bound to unfreeze after few hours e.g. 48 hours maximum..but suppose u were reloading pages after every 5 seconds but after reaching 301 views as youtube will start counting ur authentic views by ascribing each view with a unique number they will find that ur views are not coming at a rate in which the first 301+ views came,so as long as u r not gonna buy some fresh 1000+ views your 301 views are not gonna increase coz u have to earn another 300 real views from real people..but if u have bought urself some 301+ views u can expect ur viewcount to unfreeze wthin the nxt 24 hours(max 48 hours). So God bless ur viewcounts and may shower upon u views in abundance. u can always check out my channel /only1indrajit

Well first of all you can try making a public profile more like a facebook or twitter page . I like to go the organic way than buying temporary views and likes this way the traffic is more secure and stays for you the longer way. You need to develop good followers and it happens only with some time. Advertise here and there and spread your word
